1. Definitions

  • EYE4CLEAN: the user of these terms and conditions, located in Diessen, specializing in professional car cleaning and polishing services.
  • Customer: any natural person or legal entity that purchases a service from EYE4CLEAN.
  • Services: all work related to cleaning, polishing, protecting or repairing vehicles.
  • Agreement: any oral or written agreement between EYE4CLEAN and the customer for the provision of services.

2. Applicability

2.1 These terms and conditions apply to all quotations, arrangements, work, agreements and deliveries of EYE4CLEAN.
2.2 Deviations are valid only if agreed in writing.
2.3 General terms and conditions of the customer are expressly rejected.
2.4 These conditions also apply to appointments made by telephone, verbally or via WhatsApp, e-mail or other digital channels.
2.5 By making an appointment or purchasing a service, the client agrees to these terms and conditions.


3. Appointments and quotations

3.1 Quotes are non-binding and valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.
3.2 An appointment is established once it has been confirmed orally, in writing or digitally or once a deposit has been made.
3.3 EYE4CLEAN reserves the right to refuse orders without giving reasons.


4. Down payment and payment

4.1 Some treatments or customized services require a deposit. This will be clearly communicated in advance.
4.2 The remaining amount must be paid immediately upon completion of the work, by pin or cash.
4.3 In the event of non-payment, statutory interest and collection costs will be charged in accordance with the Collection Costs Act.
4.4 Vehicles will be returned only after full payment has been made.


5. Cancellation and rescheduling of appointments

5.1 If the customer cancels within 24 hours prior to the appointment, EYE4CLEAN may charge a fee or retain the deposit.
5.2 Appointments can be rescheduled free of charge up to 48 hours in advance.
5.3 In case of force majeure (such as weather conditions, illness or technical failure), EYE4CLEAN may reschedule an appointment. Down payments will remain valid in this case.


6. Performance of services

6.1 EYE4CLEAN performs the agreed services with professional care and skill.
6.2 The customer must deliver the vehicle clean, empty and accessible at the agreed time and pick it up in a timely manner.
6.3 Additional contamination (such as animal hair, mud, resin, paint, cement or smoke odor) may result in additional charges. This will be communicated in advance or during treatment.


7. Results and expectations

7.1 EYE4CLEAN strives to achieve the best possible result within reasonable limits, but cannot guarantee factory-new condition.
7.2 Paint defects, interior wear, color differences or deep-seated soiling may remain visible despite treatment.


8. Liability and damages

8.1 EYE4CLEAN shall only be liable for direct damages resulting from intent or gross negligence.
8.2 Liability is limited to the amount of the relevant invoice.
8.3 EYE4CLEAN shall not be liable for:

  • pre-existing damage to the vehicle;
  • consequential damages, electronic malfunctions or loss of manufacturer's warranty;
  • damage due to defects or leaks that are not visible at intake.
    8.4 Complaints about damage must be reported immediately upon pick-up. Subsequent reports cannot be considered.

9. Warranty

9.1 Certain treatments, such as lacquer coatings, are covered by a limited warranty provided the customer follows the maintenance instructions.
9.2 Warranty is void if:

  • inappropriate washing methods or products are used;
  • the vehicle is not regularly maintained;
  • damage caused by external influences such as bird droppings, tree sap, brine or tar.

10. Right of withdrawal (for consumers in distance sales).

10.1 In remote arrangements (such as via email or online), the consumer has a 14-day cooling-off period as long as the service has not yet been performed.
10.2 If the customer requests execution within the cooling-off period, the right of withdrawal expires as soon as EYE4CLEAN has begun the work.
10.3 Customized services, such as coatings or deep cleaning, are excluded from the right of withdrawal once execution has begun.


11. Force Majeure

11.1 EYE4CLEAN shall not be liable for any delay or non-performance due to force majeure, such as illness, extreme weather conditions, power failures, government measures or shortage of materials.
11.2 In case of force majeure, the appointment will be rescheduled free of charge.


12. Privacy (AVG).

12.1 EYE4CLEAN processes personal data solely for planning, communication, billing and customer service purposes.
12.2 Data will not be provided to third parties unless required by law.

13. Applicable law and disputes.

13.1 All agreements with EYE4CLEAN shall be governed exclusively by Dutch law.
13.2 Disputes shall be resolved by mutual agreement to the extent possible.
13.3 If necessary, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent court in the district in which EYE4CLEAN is located.
